Welcome to the Calder Prescott Jazz Groups Website:
The world of Jazz is universal, and the Calder Prescott Jazz Groups
span many of the styles of Jazz. A Jazz Quartet that can be intimate
or as brash as required; A Six piece Dixieland Jazz Group for fun
and happy toe tapping music; A Jazz Octet for the more formal Jazz
Festival or Jazz Concert with music oriented to the Swing/Bebop Era.
Finally a swinging 17 piece Big Band, the Dunedin City
Jazz Orchestra, with a repertoire ranging from Glenn Miller,
through Big Band standards to Jazz Rock. A very suitable group for dancing or listning.
Four fully professional Jazz Groups for all occasions.
